europe backpack packing list
im backpacking around europe for 2 months in may/june next year…..?
starting in the north london, belgium, holland, germany, czech republic and austria before heading south to italy and then the alps in switzerland as my last stop. i havent done anything on this scale before and have no idea what to pack and bring with me.
would anyone have a comprhensive list of things that i should pack?
Well first off if this is going to be an extended trio light is the way to go. This list should do the trick:
-socks(wool) 6 pairs, they are worth it.
-underwear, 2 pairs just flip them inside out and you get double the usage and you can always wash one in a town somewhere.
-rain gear, a neccesity
-a pocket knife + a large bowie knife or the like if you will be in wild areas.
-wooden stake, holy water, pieces of the eucharist (the czech republic is an ancient country, vampires still roam the forest.)
-3 t-shirts (who are you trying to impress)
-2 pairs of pants/shorts really you don’t need that many.
-a good pair of boots
these are pretty much the essentials but you may want to bring some extra things for comfort.

Is it possible to use hand sanitizer to disinfect surface of a table?
Today we are haveing where a picnic table was dirty. Curiously it was made of a material similar to that household countertop makes that thing look like other materials (it looks something like lenolium, not sure if thats what it is). I took my bottle of hand sanitizer my backpack and we have used to clean the table. It seemed to work pretty well, how do you think it is. I did this because I saw the staff matinence do cafetireas on the surface when we first started to suffer cutbacks. Are there effects dangerous might happen to it.
I think the most ok. Sanitizers are used to kill germs and bacteria (and the rest of its germicidal). Although it would be better if you used a clean towel, other than that, its all good

How do I go about planning a vacation in Europe?
My mother takes me on a trip to Europe and finally graduated college this spring and we want to go to summer or early fall. How can one go about planning this? We want to buy some sort of package that visits, trips, a long hike, perhaps, hotel, food and transportation all paid for the line but there are so many websites, so I'm not sure to start looking there or maybe go to a travel agency. Anyone have any ideas or advice on how to start planning what to do, what I need, or any other info? Thank you!
Well, I'm sorta in the same boat as you, except I'm planning my entire trip Euro (no pun inteneded) this summer (2008), but one of the most easy since I guess you've never been and your mom did not judge or speak with a travel agency first to see what deals and packages you can get through them and looking for a European travel agency offering packages for tourists visiting and compare, but it is best to sumtimes make your own intestinal vaction a pre set one, there's more funny, but again that was not the point of your question so if Please try the tips listed above and I pray to God it helps.

Tour de France / Nepal?
Hi, I would go to India and Nepal …. will not be around hearded a farmer, bus tour, but do not want to go alone. I backpack a lot in myself, but do not want this time. I love traveling as GAP and Geckos – you get to see many sights, but do not plan your whole trip yourself. Also, as a woman, I do not feel comfortable to go alone. The only problem is that none of the companies I am aware (such as Gap, geckos, Intrepid, etc.) have exactly the trip I want. Any who have an idea? All other tour companies you think? Suggestions? Thank you !!!!!!!!!!!!!
