Tour de France / Nepal?
Hi, I would go to India and Nepal …. will not be around hearded a farmer, bus tour, but do not want to go alone. I backpack a lot in myself, but do not want this time. I love traveling as GAP and Geckos – you get to see many sights, but do not plan your whole trip yourself. Also, as a woman, I do not feel comfortable to go alone. The only problem is that none of the companies I am aware (such as Gap, geckos, Intrepid, etc.) have exactly the trip I want. Any who have an idea? All other tour companies you think? Suggestions? Thank you !!!!!!!!!!!!!

What are the 3 main islands between Greece Mykonos, Santorini, Ios, Naxos and Paros?
2 girls (early 20s) backpack … Looking for top 3 islands with:-the most beautiful beaches, nightlife, lots to do (may be held with Cliff Jumping … surfing?) great scenery (buildings, etc.) *** CORFU IS ALSO ANOTHER ONE OF THE OPTIONS
Go to Paros, Mykonos and Santorini. Naxos also has great beaches, but less developed in terms of nightlife and tourism infrastructure. It is almost as Paros, the ferry line as Paros and Santorini. You should check the ferry schedules so you do not return Piraeus to get to the next island. Mykonos and Santorini are connected few days of the week, but I doubt it is connected to Mykonos Paros or Naxos. And sure wonder how long the journey lasts, because there are slow boats and speed boats now.

What are the good guys do not miss the picturesque places in the peninsula of Michigan?
My husband and I are both interested in photography and we're planning a trip to Michigan Upper Peninsula this summer. We will be visiting the Isle Royale, for sure, but also looking around for some other scenic places to visit and photograph. We are both avid hikers alike. Does anyone have any recommendations on the scenic places to visit either photography or hiking and backpacking? Although we do not want to see what the Upper Peninsula is known for, we also want some travel of the road less traveled, is less touristy spots. We would appreciate any recommendation from individuals who traveled there. PS. Other than their famous pies what other foods is a must eat? What is the best place to eat authentic pies in the UP?
Tahquamenon Falls. You can drive to places where you can see the falls from the M-123, but in a way more fun to go is to catch the Toonerville Trolley. It is an old narrow-gauge logging railroad that takes you to the River, where you take a boat for a cruise on the stretch above the upper falls. You can then get off the boat and walk in the woods in the Upper Falls, and a little further you can see the Lower Falls. You take the train a few miles east of Newberry off M-28. You will need to go early in the morning because it is a day excursion. Also, go to Paradise. It is also on the M-123. Find any dinner recently and ordered a cheeseburger. (If you've never heard that Jimmy Buffett song, you'll understand). From there, head north of Point Shipwreck Museum Whitefish. It is in an old lighthouse on Lake Superior. And since you'll be so close anyway, stop in Sault Ste. Mary and watch some boats ore through the Soo Locks. You can even take a boat trip and go by yourself, if you're so inclined. Most any which restaurant to stop at will, brochures for these and many other attractions. Just across the river from Houghton (where you may be get your boat to the island, perhaps?) is the town of Hancock, where you can find the Quincy Mine Hoist. This was part of the activity mining of copper for which the UP had previously noted. I think it's also now a national park or something similar. Another place that you want to see is the May Fayette village site south east of Escanaba US-2. This is a preserved example of a steel city. There's another place I just remembered. It's off of 2, about 50 miles west of St. Ignace. It's called the Gar-Lyn Zoo, is a small place, but He has some wildlife around the world. It's really easy to miss, even when you're driving by. If such a thing interests you, you can not throw a stone into the air without landing on a tribal casino there. I could tell you more, but you just go UP! Best pies? That's a tough one.
