Backpacking sleeping bags,do I need a special sleeping bag for backpacking?

:For starters it all depends on what time of year you are going on your hike. The weight will differ from a warm weather bag to a cold weather bag. Your average warm weather bag will be around 3 pounds and will stuff easily. Cold weather bags will usually be a bit heavier due to the insulating properties in them, but they will be a few pounds heavier. When you decide to get a backpack bag, get one with a good stuff sack and is rated to the correct temperature.
